This page explains who owns the material published on Parent Rescue Room (the “Service”), how you are permitted to use it, and how to report material you believe infringes your copyright.

1. Ownership of content

All original content published on parentrescueroom.com and inside the Parent Rescue Room app — including but not limited to text, in-the-moment scripts, co-regulation prompts, repair language, quizzes, articles, audio, illustrations, icons, layouts, source code, and the “look and feel” of the Service — is the exclusive property of Cheyenne Lofthouse-Wolf, LCSW, or is used with permission from the rights holder. It is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

2. Limited personal-use license

Subject to your compliance with our Terms of Service, you are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial parenting support. You may:

  • View, screenshot, and print content for your own household use.
  • Share a link to a public page (for example, this page or an article) on social media or in a message to another parent.
  • Quote a short excerpt (roughly one paragraph or fewer) with clear attribution to “Parent Rescue Room” and a link back to the source page.

3. What is not permitted

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

  • Copy, republish, redistribute, sell, sublicense, rent, or lease any part of the Service or its content;
  • Use the content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or ground any machine-learning model, large language model, or other AI system;
  • Scrape, crawl, mirror, or systematically download content by any automated means;
  • Create derivative works, adaptations, translations, or compilations based on the content;
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices; or
  • Use the content in any way that competes with the Service, including reposting it inside another parenting product, newsletter, course, book, or app.

All rights not expressly granted in these terms are reserved.

4. Trademarks

“Parent Rescue Room,” the Parent Rescue Room logo, and related names, marks, and slogans are trademarks of Cheyenne Lofthouse-Wolf, LCSW. You may not use them without our prior written permission, except to make an accurate, non-misleading reference to the Service. All other product names, logos, and brands mentioned on the Service are the property of their respective owners; reference to them does not imply endorsement.

5. User-submitted content

You retain ownership of any notes, entries, questions, or other material you submit through the Service (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Parent Rescue Room a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and securing the Service for you. We do not sell your User Content or use it to train third-party AI models. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any content you upload.

6. Third-party content and attributions

The Service uses open-source software and third-party services, each under its own license. Notable examples include:

  • Lucide icons — ISC License, © Lucide Contributors.
  • Open-source libraries listed in our project’s package.json, each retained under its respective MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD, or ISC license.
  • Crisis-resource information (such as 988 and Childhelp) is reproduced factually and remains the property of the organizations that publish it.
  • Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd., our reseller and Merchant of Record. “Paddle” is a trademark of its owner.

If you believe an attribution is missing or incorrect, please contact us using the address below and we will correct it promptly.

7. DMCA copyright infringement notices

We respect the intellectual-property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. If you believe that material available on or through the Service infringes a copyright you own or control, you may send a written notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) that includes all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf;
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and a URL or other information sufficient for us to locate it;
  4. Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.

Send notices to our Designated Agent at copyright@parentrescueroom.com. We will respond to properly submitted notices consistent with the DMCA and may remove or disable access to the material identified. Repeat infringers may have their accounts terminated.

Counter-notices. If you believe your material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).

False claims. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.

8. Requests to license or reprint

If you would like to reprint, translate, or otherwise reuse content from Parent Rescue Room beyond what section 2 allows — for example, in a book, course, clinical handout, workplace program, or academic publication — please write to hello@parentrescueroom.com with a description of the content, the intended use, the audience, and the distribution channel. We are usually happy to grant reasonable non-commercial requests with attribution.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this Copyright notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised notice.
